Kathryn Rice is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Transcendent Travel Services. Since founding the company in 2013, she has guided its growth into an international tour operator known for thoughtfully designed cultural journeys and distinctive partner-branded travel programs.

Kathryn leads the business behind the travel experience, including company strategy, financial management, international operations, commercial relationships, technology, marketing oversight, and organizational development. Her approach to the company reflects more than 25 years of experience in international tax, transfer pricing, and professional-services consulting. That background brings a high level of financial, operational, and cross-border discipline to Transcendent's planning and growth, while her longstanding interests in culture, history, music, and the arts help shape the company's broader point of view.

Kathryn developed Transcendent's original concept and early tour model in close collaboration with Andrew Lannerd, who became a partner in 2017. Their complementary roles have helped create travel programs that combine cultural depth, distinctive access, strong local relationships, and close attention to each guest's experience.
