March 31, 2020 - For Current September Bookings On Certain Tours

Tour Guests on “The Crown of Elizabeth II” & “Glorious Scotland“

We here at Transcendent Travel have been adapting and watching the current unprecedented global events related to COVID-19 unfold, and we wanted to bring you up to date on where things stand at present, and our current approach to your September tour of the United Kingdom.

As you are aware, COVID-19 effects have continued to grow and, seem to change by the day. We have been monitoring things closely, and, especially given some of the uncertainty surrounding this issue, we intend to make a decision on the status of your September tour at the end of May.

UPDATE on 5/21/20: We have rescheduled our tours to operate in 2021.

In the meantime, we will freeze any ongoing automatic payment arrangements that you may have set up with us until status of your tour is determined.

A decision could mean postponing your tour to a later and safer date, perhaps even to Summer 2021. Although some COVID-19 facts appear certain, we are still gauging information as it comes in, and the overall effect it will have on our rescheduling efforts associated with each of our 2020 tours. While we may have boundless hope that worldwide conditions will have improved enough to safely conduct a tour in September, we still need to anticipate the best timing for any and all such tour rescheduling into 2021.

Should your tour be rescheduled, we will of course want to reach out to each of you individually to discuss your particular circumstances.

With our hearts going out to everyone, we will continue to offer something positive to look forward to, and what could be more positive than travel – something we can’t do at present.

It you have any questions, do be in touch, as we welcome your thoughts and concerns. But again, as things stand today, we will be in touch with you via email at the end of May with the status of your tour.

In the meantime, please do be well.

March 28, 2020 - For Currently-Booked Tour Guests

We here at Transcendent Travel have been adapting and watching the current unprecedented global events related to COVID-19 unfold, and we wanted to bring you up to date on where things stand at present, and our current approach to various summer tours.

1.  To The Manor Born - Arizona Public Media (June, 2020).
We have decided to reschedule your tour to June, 2021.

We are working now with the team at Arizona Public Media to determine the exact week in June 2021 and we expect to communicate that new tour week to you by April 15th.

Given the need to reschedule, we are offering you a 10% incentive of your tour cost to continue onto the rescheduled 2021 tour. That is, you will receive an extra 10% credit towards the cost of next year’s tour, which will not be affected by any increase in tour cost (although we do not anticipate any such increase at this time).

2.  The Best of Acorn TV (July); To The Manor Born - Milwaukee PBS (July); and Great British Telly with WFYI (August).
As you are aware, COVID-19 effects have continued to grow and, seem to change by the day. We have been monitoring things closely, and, especially given some of the uncertainty surrounding this issue, we intend to make a final decision on the status of your summer tour no later than April 15.   That is, a decision could mean postponing these tours to a later and safer date, perhaps even to Summer 2021.

We are now working with our tour partners to make these decisions, as we must, including the relevant dates.

3.  To The Manor Born - GPB; Wales tour; Great British Telly with ATL PBA; Great British Telly with KERA (August/Sept).
We intend to make a final decision on the status of these tours at the end of April.  A decision could mean postponing these tours to a later and safer date, perhaps even to Summer 2021.

4.  Remaining Scheduled Tours (September, October)
To be communicated shortly.

If your tour is indeed postponed, we would offer you a 10% incentive of your tour cost for the rescheduled tour. That is, you will receive an extra 10% credit towards the cost of next year’s tour, which will not be affected by any increase in tour cost (although we do not anticipate any such increase at this time).

Should your tour be rescheduled, we will of course want to reach out to each of you individually to discuss your particular circumstances.

In other words, the tour WOULD happen at a later/safer date, and by taking this approach, you would simply be delaying your travel experience, while allowing more time for the COVID-19 situation to unfold. In this manner, with our hearts going out to everyone, we want to continue to offer something positive to look forward to, and what could be more positive than travel – something we can’t do at present.

If you are unavailable to take the tour at the rescheduled date, once that date is officially determined, you could also choose to receive a refund.

We will of course be reaching out once we have the new dates, to discuss your particular circumstances.

If you have any questions, do be in touch, as we welcome your thoughts and concerns, and as noted, we will need to speak to everyone individually, so thank you for your continued patience. But again, as things stand today, we will be in touch with you via email with the status of your tour.
In the meantime, please do be well.

March 12, 2020 - An important update from Transcendent Travel

Dear Tour Guest,

In response to the questions we have received, we wanted to provide an update on the safety precautions we are taking with our tours.

At the present time, our summer 2020 tours of the United Kingdom are scheduled to go ahead as planned; however, please be aware that we are closely monitoring the situation and will make and communicate any alterations to specific tours if the situation changes.

We are in constant communication with our partners in the United States and on the ground throughout the United Kingdom, and reserve the right to alter tour itineraries and tour dates with the safety of our guests in mind.

Based on the guidance we’ve received and the actions we are taking, we will ensure we are doing all we can to make sure you feel safe, comfortable, and welcome.

All of us at Transcendent Travel understand that this issue is cause for concern to many. As the situation evolves, we will continue to make decisions with the health and well-being of our tour participants as our utmost priority.

Here are some of the protocols we are following to ensure your safety:

  • As is always the case with our tours, we will continue to provide hand sanitizer to guests. Additionally, the coaches will be equipped with hand sanitizer.

  • All coaches will undergo extra cleanings before, during, and after travel.

  • Our groups will be avoiding large crowds by adjusting schedules as needed.

  • Ultimately, please make the right decision for your health and in conjunction with your health care provider.

We hope this provides some peace of mind and welcome your questions. You can email us at info@transcendent-travel.com.

We look forward to welcoming you to the United Kingdom this summer.
